Jacques de Chazal, petit-fils d’Evenor de Chazal, aura 100 ans le 7 juin 2020.
C’est un homme de coeur qui a parcouru un long chemin parsemé d’heures sombres mais aussi de moments de bonheur et d’espoir. “Il est Chazal dans ses manières et dans la tournure de ses idées”.
Jacques a été nommé à titre militaire “Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur”, a été décoré de la “Croix de guerre” et a reçu d’autres médailles à titre militaire.
Il est le cousin germain de mon père, des enfants d’Yvonne de Chazal ainsi que de ceux de Guy de Chazal qui a fait souche en Bolivie.
Je vous engage à le découvrir, si vous ne le connaissez pas. Il a écrit quelques souvenirs et ses mémoires. C’est un personnage fascinant.

I know you will not be having a party as most of your friends have passed on.
