Censored letters written by German Jews. Climate in Phoenix did not suit her, suffered anemia. She returned to Europe traveling with Tante Emma arriving 1.5.45, just before VE Day. Mary returned to Mauritius perhaps to try reconciliation but this failed. Returned to UK about 1955 Divorced 1957. Friendship with Jack and Batcha Smith and meeting Virginia Taylor inspired her to compile the de Chazal and Rouillard Family Trees.
